*Moments that remind you of why you became a teacher*
This page is created for teachers to share their stories of moments that remind them of why they became a teacher. Teaching is very stressful and at times a person will feel like quitting. A teacher plays so many roles on a daily basis and deals with so many different personalities. My hope is that your story will be an inspiration for others when they have those “bad” days.
My moment came when one of my students thanked me for teaching her. She always hated math and made D’s and F’s before coming to my class. She told me that I explained math in a way that she could understand and that I made her feel like she could do it. Moments like this keep me going.
